GDPR & Privacy Rights

Your privacy matters to us. This page explains the rights granted to you under the GDPR and describes how you can submit a request regarding your personal data. For more information about how we collect and process data, please read our Privacy Policy.

1. Rights Available to You

  • Access (Art. 15) – you have the right to request confirmation that we process your personal data and obtain a copy of the information we hold.
  • Rectification (Art. 16) – if your personal information is inaccurate or incomplete, you may ask us to correct or update it.
  • Erasure (Art. 17) – you may request deletion of your personal data where there is no legal reason requiring us to retain it.
  • Restriction (Art. 18) – under certain circumstances, you may ask us to temporarily suspend the processing of your information.
  • Portability (Art. 20) – you may receive your personal data in a commonly used electronic format suitable for transferring to another service provider.
  • Objection (Art. 21) – you may object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, including direct marketing where applicable.
  • Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7) – where consent is the legal basis for processing, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting previous lawful processing.

2. Making a Request

If you wish to exercise any of the rights listed above, please email support@asicminerbase.com using the subject "GDPR Request".

To help us locate your records, please include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your account or purchase
  • Your order reference, if applicable
  • A description of the request you would like us to process

Most requests are completed within 30 days. Where permitted by law, additional time may be required for particularly complex requests, and we will notify you if an extension applies.

For security reasons, we may request proof of identity before processing your request.

3. Legal Grounds for Processing

  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) – processing purchases, delivering orders, and providing customer support.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) – complying with accounting, taxation, and other statutory requirements.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) – protecting our systems, preventing fraud, and improving our services.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) – sending optional marketing communications or enabling services that require your permission.

4. Transfers of Personal Data

We aim to process personal information within the European Union or European Economic Area whenever possible. If data must be transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are implemented, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other recognized legal mechanisms.

5. Supervisory Authority

If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to the supervisory authority responsible in your country of residence or where the alleged infringement occurred.

If our business is established in Germany, the competent authority is the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI). We nevertheless encourage you to contact us first so we can investigate and resolve your concerns directly.

6. Privacy Enquiries
